The arbitral institution "Commercial Court" is a body contributing to dispute settlement, created by the Chamber of Auditors NGO.
The Commercial Court carries out its activities in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Armenia "On Commercial Arbitration", international treaties of the Republic of Armenia, the European Convention and its Charter.
The Commercial Court is not a legal entity, it may acquire and exercise property and non-pecuniary rights on behalf of the Chamber and bear responsibilities.
The main areas of the jurisdiction of the Commercial Court are:
• Achieve fair dispute resolution with no undue delay or expense by the impartial Commercial Court
• Organize an alternative method of solving commercial and civil domestic and international trade disputes if a written arbitrage agreement has been signed between the parties
• Undertake commercial jurisdiction or cooperation with other stakeholders to examine specific legal issues arising from arbitration, as well as general matters of commercial and civilian domestic and international trade arbitration
• Promotion / support of commercial and civilian domestic and international trade arbitrage in the Republic of Armenia
• Implement any other obligations in accordance with this Charter and the Code of the Commercial Court
